The selected candidate is expected to perform the following tasks:
—C
 ontribute to the elaboration of a methodological framework for the
inclusion of degrowth principles into the law.
—S
 tudy the selected European countries’ legal regimes for batteries
(from mineral extraction to disposal and recycling, passing by manufacturing and use) and apply the above-mentioned methodological
framework.
—P
rovide recommendations to decision makers based on the legal
analysis.

Tasks to be developed:

—C
 ollaborate closely with colleagues from different disciplines at
CIIAE, e.g., technology developers and energy system modellers.
— Write publications as first author.
—S
 upport project management and project administration (internal
and external, e.g., social media communication).
—P
 articipate to the creation of a European movement of Law & Degrowth scholars.
Academic background:

A master’s degree in law. Better if in energy law or similar (administrative
law, environmental law, competition law, mining law, etc.).

Until 30th September 2029.
